About Ctrl Alt

Ctrl Alt is designing and operating the on-chain infrastructure powering digital capital markets globally. We bring together a unique blend of expertise in financial markets and cutting-edge in-house technology to deliver tailored, compliant solutions in the alternative assets space. Since launching in 2022, we’ve tokenized over $850m in assets across real estate, private credit, funds, litigation finance and more.

We’re building a high-performance, people-first culture where ambitious individuals can thrive. We move fast, think big and hold ourselves to a high bar, while keeping things collaborative, open and genuinely fun. At Ctrl Alt ideas win on merit, teams work closely with leadership, and everyone has a voice in shaping what we build next.

We believe that hard work should come with real reward. You won’t just join a company - you’ll help build one. Last year alone, we grew from 17 to 50 people, and this year we’re going faster and further. That means real responsibility, meaningful impact, and the opportunity to grow alongside a company that’s redefining the future of finance through the tokenization of alternative assets.

If you’re excited by scale-up energy, ownership, and the chance to help shape both a business and a culture, Ctrl Alt is where you can do the most rewarding work of your career.

What's Involved

We’re hiring a Head of People to build and scale a period of rapid international growth within Ctrl Alt.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on ownership and momentum. You will help shape the full employee lifecycle while ensuring our culture, values, and ways of working scale as fast as our business.

You’ll partner closely with senior leadership to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent across our offices, while building people frameworks that match our values. This role is for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, moves quickly, and takes pride in creating an environment where high performance and strong culture go hand in hand.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in our London office.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with leaders to develop strategies for managing, motivating, and retaining key talent
  • Ensure that high performance stays at the centre of the business as we scale
  • Work directly with our managers to help them grow as leaders and support the professional development of their teams.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and practical tools that allow team managers to lead with confidence as the business scales
  • Partner closely with Finance and the leadership team to build and execute a hiring plan that aligns with business priorities, budget, and long-term organisational design
  • Ensure we are growing the organisation in a way that is healthy and structured, not just fast
  • Build and optimise the core processes (onboarding, benefits, compliance) required to support a company doubling in size
  • Take ownership of our international setup: you’ll make sure that whether someone is in London or Dubai, they are hired correctly, paid on time, and have everything they need to work legally
  • Own the overall people systems strategy by leading a team to deliver reliable data, efficient processes, and scalable operations; ensuring our systems evolve in line with the pace of growth
  • Lead benchmarking to keep us competitive and own the strategy behind how we reward our people
  • Stay on top of employment law and GDPR across all jurisdictions

Requirements

Must Haves

  • Have successfully led a People function through a period of rapid growth (For example, scaling from 30 to 100+ employees) and understand what a "best-in-class" operation looks like in a scale-up environment
  • Possess the experience to design a 12-month people strategy alongside managing day-to-day execution, from running payroll cycles to drafting employment contracts
  • Can identify operational gaps and design scalable solutions without requiring a pre-existing playbook
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and a zero-error mindset
  • Have experience managing the legal and operational complexities of employing staff across the UK, Ireland, and the UAE
  • Have experience managing a team and a track record of mentoring high-performing staff
